This Azilal runner is a beautifully contrasting piece. It features bright and light blue, brown, black and hints of cream and pink. It has a nice thick and fluffy feel and is in excellent condition. This is a great piece to combine with black furniture or to add contrast in a bright space.
Azilal rugs are usually quite vibrant, colourful, and are always in the mood to make a bold statement.
Moroccan rugs were initially made as functional pieces for personal use. These rugs were meant to last for decades and often handed down from generation to generation. The design is a combination of traditional Amazigh symbols with the interpretation and imagination of the weaver. Each piece is unique. This level of craftmanship could take up to weeks or even months to complete a single rug.
