This Azilal runner makes perfect use of earthy tones. The creamy base is beautifully complemented with shades of brown and touches of black to add contrast. It has a soft medium pile and would be a great fit for a bedroom.
Azilal rugs are usually quite vibrant, colourful, and are always in the mood to make a statement.
Moroccan rugs were initially made as functional pieces for personal use. These rugs were meant to last for decades and often handed down from generation to generation. The design is a combination of traditional Amazigh symbols with the interpretation and imagination of the weaver. Each piece is unique. This level of craftmanship could take up to weeks or even months to complete a single rug.
