This vintage Talsint rug beautifully combines graphic lines with colour! The red and pink bring some extra spark to the natural colour of the wool and make it an interesting piece to look at. It has soft and shiny wool in a medium pile length and is in excellent condition. It would fit great in an upstairs hallway, in front of a cabinet or in a children’s room or bedroom.
Moroccan rugs were initially made as functional pieces for personal use. These rugs were meant to last for decades and often handed down from generation to generation. The design is a combination of traditional Amazigh symbols with the interpretation and imagination of the weaver. Each piece is unique. This level of craftmanship could take up to weeks or even months to complete a single rug.
