Meet Turay, this beautiful vintage Azilal runner with a khaki base colour that makes it so unique. It’s a rare colour that you don’t get to see very often in Berber designs. The base is beautifully complemented with light brown and cream. It’s a vintage piece with a true artisanal feel and would be excellent for a hallway or bedroom.
Azilal rugs are usually quite vibrant, colourful, and are always in the mood to make a statement.
Moroccan rugs were initially made for personal use. They were meant to last for decades and often handed down from generation to generation. This level of craftmanship could take up to weeks or even months to complete a single rug. The design is a combination of traditional Amazigh symbols with the interpretation and imagination of the weaver. Every piece is unique.
