This Azilal runner has an ivory cream base with cheerful use of colour. It features different shades of pink, blue, green and red and has a nice thick and fluffy feel. It would fit well in front of a white cabinet or closet, or it can add a touch of colour in a children’s room or bedroom.
Azilal rugs are usually quite vibrant, colourful, and are always in the mood to make a statement.
Moroccan rugs were initially made for personal use. They were meant to last for decades and often handed down from generation to generation. This level of craftmanship could take up to weeks or even months to complete a single rug. The design is a combination of traditional Amazigh symbols with the interpretation and imagination of the weaver. Every piece is unique.
