Meet Fabia, this vintage Rehamna rug is perfect for the peachy colour lovers. It also features subtle light green, turquoise and indigo with small accents of yellow. The borders are made with dark brown and some black accents to provide contrast. It’s in good vintage condition and a great size for the bedroom, dressing or upstairs hallway.
Rehamna rugs can be recognized by their sawtooth reinforcement on the sides of the rug. These are made of goat hair and give away that you’re looking at a real Rehamna.
Moroccan rugs were initially made for personal use. They were meant to last for decades and often handed down from generation to generation. This level of craftmanship could take up to weeks or even months to complete a single rug. The design is a combination of traditional Amazigh symbols with the interpretation and imagination of the weaver. Every piece is unique.
